So what am I actually buying?

You are buying access to a wealth of curated information organized into an easy to read format to save, print out, and post on your refrigerator.

You will get information on some items to swap out in your pantry, what to buy at the store, tips or suggestions on making lifestyle changes.

There will be various ‘homework’ assignments along the way. What you put into the course will be what you get out of it! There is no failing here. I merely ask that you come with some motivation to change or motivation to figure out why you want to change. In addition to the downloadable materials, you will have access to me via e-mail as needed. My life’s goal is to empower others (see this post!) so you get out of this what you put into it. If I hold your hand too much along the way, it will be hard to maintain once it’s over. If you do it yourself, that is where you will find success!

Each week is a different ‘topic.’ There is a prep week worksheet which is designed to help you find your motivation and resources to help you find ways to support change. The next 6 weeks will cover Hydration, Digestion, Nutrition, Blood Sugar Regulation, Exercise, and Mindfulness.

How much does it cost?

Currently the course is $29.99. Thats under $5 per week! When you add in the prep week worksheet plus the inclusion of guaranteed e-mail response within 48 hours while you are participating in the course and any other goodies I might toss in there, you’re getting a steal of a deal!

So this isn’t a meal plan?

No, while I provide some links to recipes and information on recipes, there is no strict meal plan to follow. Challenge meal plans can be wonderful to find out food sensitivities, to reset your gut health, as a cleanse/detox, but they are rarely sustainable.

The goal of this program is to help you find ways to make lifestyle changes so that you can become the healthiest you, whatever those goals may be.

What are the handouts going to look like? How do I get them?

Here is a sample worksheet. This is the prep week worksheet to help guide people to what they should look for in the materials provided. All of the subsequent weeks will have a similar format with a variety of additional information. You will get a copy of the Prep Week worksheet when you sign up for the course. Then, once the course starts, you will get weekly e-mails with the upcoming week’s handouts of information and homework.

What if I am Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo, AIP, Allergic to Everything, Pregnant or Breastfeeding (or all of the above)?

Welcome! Because this isn’t a one size fits all approach, everyone is welcome. If there is a change or tip that doesn’t fit within your current lifestyle or medical status, don’t make it! The majority, if not all, of the recommendations can be supported across the board. If there is anything that you are questioning throughout the course, please ask.

Are you a doctor?

No! Well, I have my clinical doctorate in physical therapy, but please remember that this program is not to be a substitute for medical advice or treatment. I do not diagnose or treat diseases. My role is to support a healthy lifestyle. I am happy to help you work within your medical realm if you are under the care of a physician, but for any medical questions, please refer back to them. If you have more complex medical concerns, consider scheduling one-on-one sessions with me.
